The Dtorque 50 requires the use of low sulfur diesel EN590 to meet emission standards.
We have a common rail fuel system to comply with emissions and keep consumption low. This system requires low sulfur diesel, and ensures the engine achieves optimal performance and maintains its longevity.
Whilst the engine can run on other diesel standards, doing so will reduce the life of some outboard’s components, such as the pump and injectors, and therefore void the warranty.
